How to be Productive while Quarantined Part III

It's day three of our "How to be Productive while Quarantined" series, and we are very thrilled to present you with even more ideas.

Let's get productive!

  • Form a book club: When's the last time you read a good book? Well, now is the time to catch up on some good reading. Dust off one or two books you have on your bookshelf, call up your friends and start reading together! A few suggestions we have are "The Four Agreements." by Don Miguel Ruiz, "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho, and "Creating Money: Attracting Abundance" by Sanaya Roman. There's enough time to get through as many books as your heart desires.

  • Create an eBook: Yesterday, we touched on journaling. How about you turn your thoughts into an eBook? It doesn't have to be a long novel, but something that will grab your audience's attention and make them think. Some of the best books come from experience. Pick a topic, create your content, think of an eyecatching title and cover, and promote your eBook online!

  • Self-care: Self-care, especially during this time, is essential because it stimulates your mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Instead of grabbing your phone as soon as you wake up in the morning, try meditating for at least 10 minutes to set the tone for your day. Disconnect from social media for an hour each day. Unable to go to the nail salon? Treat yourself to an at-home mani and pedicure. Boil water, add your favorite essential oils, and give yourself a facial. Sit in a room, alone, in silence to clear your mind. Practicing self-care helps with long-term health and stress management.

  • Exercise: Many of our favorite gyms have closed, but that should not stop us from being active. And since we will be home for the next few weeks, we've stocked up on our favorite snacks (I know I did!). There are thousands of free fitness apps (Nike Training Club, Map My Fitness, and FitOn) that you can download and use at home. Some of your favorite fitness instructors are also offering free sessions via Instagram live 😉. Don't let your quarantine snacks take over! Get up and get moving.
